Silica has unique properties of being a substance that has good thermal stability, water repellency, high versatility and durability which makes it an essential element to various industries. Silica and its derivatives are widely applied in multiple industries such as chemical, cement production, construction & building materials, rubber, cosmetics & personal care, electronic & semiconductor sectors, agriculture, glassmaking, solar panels, ceramics, refractories, foundries, sandblasting, resin-coated sand, and water treatment. With the technological advancement and innovation we see in our world today, there is still a significant amount of potentials to be discovered for silica.Our Product
Silica sand differs from regular sand because it carries higher silicon dioxide. It also has less amount of elements such as iron, aluminium, titanium, carbonate, etc. These other minerals found in sand are impurities that directly affect the quality of the sand.
The chemical, mechanical, and physical characteristics of the sand such as the colour, shape, size, structure, strength, stability are the deciding factors on how the sand is to be used. These characteristics can differ depending on the raw material of the sand and how it is processed after it is mined
Our sand is sourced from one of the Riau Islands which is well known for its pristine sand. We make sure that our silica sand goes through a rigorous production process from extraction to end result to discard unwated particles and to get higher silica content. We take pride in delivering a final product that meets the industry export requirement for our customers.
Within the initial phase, we will be able to generate approximately 120,000 - 180,000 tonnes/ month while also planning for further expansion in the near future.
